The rooms at Hostel La Pedriza are cozy and comfortable, with a private bathroom and all the necessary amenities. The mountain views from certain units added an extra touch of tranquility and beauty to our stay. As a laid-back guest, I really enjoyed the relaxed and homey atmosphere of the rooms.
Personally, I found the microwaves in the rooms unnecessary. But hey, everyone has different preferences, right?

my recent stay in manzanares el real exceeded my expectations. la pedriza had everything i needed for a great biking trip - friendly staff, comfortable beds, and a beautiful mountain view from the terrace. it truly felt like a home away from home.
Hot water ran out too quickly.

Delightful staff, okay restaurant, scenic roof terrace, comfy beds. Hot water can be a surprise. Perfect for hiking, unless you prefer messy rooms and locked doors.
Who needs common areas, kitchens, or late check-ins? Not me, of course.

Great location and beautiful views. Close to supermarket and town square. Comfortable beds and individual shower in the room.
The entrance via the loud bar was uncomfortable and not ideal for check-in. No late check-in available and no staff present in the morning when I needed to check out.

I had a great stay at a perfectly located hostel for my hiking trip in Manzanares el Real. The room I stayed in had a private bathroom, which was a plus. The beds were comfortable and the hostel was very clean. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. I also enjoyed the nice roof terrace with its stunning views of the mountains. The hostel's restaurant had a good variety of vegetarian and vegan options at affordable prices. Additionally, the large public parking space nearby was convenient. I highly recommend staying at this hostel for a memorable experience in Manzanares el Real.
Despite the positive aspects, there were a couple of drawbacks. the entrance through the loud bar wasn't a comfortable way to check-in, especially when there was loud music and lots of people.

Perfect location for hiking, with easy access to public transport and a large parking space nearby. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome and at home during my stay. The restaurant had delicious food at reasonable prices, with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Additionally, the roof terrace offered beautiful views of the mountains, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
The kitchen area could have been larger or at least equipped with a kettle for making hot drinks. Additionally, I noticed a bit of black mold on the ceiling in the female hostel room, which was a slight concern.

I had a delightful stay at a cozy hostel in Manzanares El Real, where Tere and her lovely team welcomed me with open arms. The hostel's decoration had a quaint and charming touch that made me feel right at home. The common areas were easily accessible for senior people like myself, allowing me to relax and take in the peaceful ambiance of the place. It was a joy to sit in the picnic area and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
The only thing I would have asked for to make my stay even better as a senior traveler would be a bit more assistance from the children working there. A little more help with luggage or any specific needs would have been greatly appreciated.

The common areas, both indoor and outdoor, provided a pleasant space to relax.
Felt like home, no complaints whatsoever.
